Stranded in Space was the first digital game I ever created. It was created by a team of five people over a timespan of ten weeks. In the team I was responsible for the Game Design and also did a lot of the coding, together with one other student. We wanted to create a cooperative game for four friends to play on a big screen, so we focused on making the base experience fun. In order to promote more cooperation we decided to introduce four different characters with different abilities and personalities, but we also planned some customizable abilities. In the end, we didn’t really complete the game, but at least we made a functional demo which got lots of praise from fellow students and teachers, so we were very happy with the results.
